Interview in your language. Get the answer in it too.
Set the session language before you start. Sokrates transcribes both sides of the call in it and writes every answer in it, not in English. 45 languages, plus 3 bilingual pairs with English, in the desktop app for macOS and Windows. Paired with the desktop app, the phone shows the answers in the same language; a session run on the phone alone offers the 17 most common.

Practice

Key points during the call and the recap with action items at the end come back in the meeting’s language.
Right to left
Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu sessions are laid out right to left: the transcript, the answers and the lists. In Hebrew the section headings (Scan, Say, Code, Score…) are translated as well. Code, product names and technical terms such as API or Kafka stay in Latin letters inside the sentence, the way people say them.
Bilingual interviews
Pick Arabic & English, Mandarin & English or Tagalog & English when the conversation switches between the two. Transcription follows both, and each answer comes back in the language the question was asked in.
How you sound, in your language
The “How you sound” setting makes the read-aloud part sound more like natural speech. In Hebrew, Spanish, French and German the small words it adds are that language’s own (French “euh”, German “äh”), never an English “um”.
